Kat Von D is insisting that all footage featuring maybe-ex-boyfriend Jesse James be edited out of her reality show "LA Ink."
According to gossip site TMZ, Kat's request is a tricky one to fulfil: there isn't enough extra footage to replace all the moments containing Jesse, so if producers removed it, they'd have to fill the space with more ads instead of more "LA Ink."
If, as gossip site Stupid Celebrities is reporting, Kat and Jesse are still together (they supposedly canoodled over lunch earlier this week), then we're not sure why she demanded all his footage removed from the show. Maybe she wants to protect his privacy, but probably not, considering that in September, she was very open about telling People magazine she thought Jesse was "the one." It's more likely that they have a stormy on-again, off-again relationship, and this is Kat's way of trying to gain control over some small part of it.
This isn't the first time Kat has demanded footage be removed from "LA Ink." Earlier this week, she told producers to take out scenes which show her badmouthing another maybe-ex, rocker Nikki Sixx. She even threatened them with legal action if they refused to do so.
