Paparazzi photographer Daniel Ramos claims he had to use crutches following a confrontation with Kanye West at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) earlier this month.
Ramos and his lawyer Gloria Allred announced on Wednesday that he is suing the rapper for assault, battery and interference with his civil rights.
The paparazzi claims he spent two weeks on crutches and must now walk with a cane, reports TMZ.
In a video (below) of the incident, Ramos and several other paparazzi are taking pictures of West as he walks out of a LAX terminal to the pick-up area.
Ramos yells, "Kanye, can we talk to you Kanye? What's going on, man? What was up with all that stuff? Do you just want squelch that? Because you're a cool guy. Come on Kanye, be cool man."
Kanye then walks to his waiting car and Ramos says, "What's going on man, why can't we talk to you? I mean, why?"
West then walks towards Ramos, who adds: "No, no, I don't want to fight with you."
"Seriously, I don't want to fight with you," Ramos says again as he backs up.
West then tells Ramos: "What you're trying to do is get me in trouble, so I have to pay you like 250 thousand."
Ramos keeps backing away and says, "No, no, no," as West appears to come after him.
Ramos' camera then appears to be knocked from his hand and records as it dangles.
