Jude Law’s ex-wife, Sadie Frost, is set to flip the lid on her doomed marriage to the star in an upcoming autobiography.
Frost, who was married to Law for six years, is releasing an autobiography next month, detailing her battle with post-natal depression, and demise of her marriage.
The book, titled Crazy Days, was the subject of much ire between Frost and Law. Law launched legal action last month in a bid to stop the book being published, and demanding the removal of all passages relating to their marriage be removed.
The pair eventually settled out of court.
Britain’s Daily Mail is serialising segments from the book, which reveals Frost’s battle with depression and how it led to her checking into a mental institution for a week.
“Jude tried to understand, but the more we had to socialise at grand dinner parties in Hollywood, the more I felt my self-esteem slipping away,” she writes.
“Soon I admitted defeat and went to see a doctor, who diagnosed PND and put me back on medication. The more I worried about my condition, the more self-obsessed I became and the less attention I gave to Jude.”
Frost describes that she knew her marriage was over after a holiday in Thailand.
“Right away I knew something was wrong,” she writes. “I knew it was over, the way he looked at me.
“I was underweight, depressed and scared…
“I asked him if he loved me but he didn’t need to reply – I knew the answer. The moment had arrived and I knew the relationship with the man I loved was over.”
