Hugh Hefner Puts "Runaway Bride" Sticker on Crystal Harris' Playboy Cover

Gold-digging whore Crystal Harris reportedly approached several publications asking for a $500,000 in a plan where she would ditch Hugh Hefner at the altar.  But Hefner got his revenge by putting a “runaway bride” sticker on her July Playboy cover.

Crystal Harris, Hugh Hefner‘s former fiance, apparently used Hugh to further her music career and even had planned to humiliate him by taking off right before she walked down the aisle on Saturday.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: “Crystal wanted to ditch Hef at the altar. Her plan was to walk up the aisle and say she couldn’t go through with it. The wedding was to be filmed for a reality special, and her refusal to marry him would be a sensation.

“She was looking for a tie-in deal of around $500,000 for the exclusive ‘I ditched Hef at the altar’ interview. While there was interest, Crystal didn’t get an offer anywhere near half a million.”

The July issue of Playboy magazine has already been printed with a story of “introducing Mrs Crystal Hefner”, showing Crystal wearing Hefner’s sailor cap.

But Hugh has kept a sense of humor about the heartbreak, tweeting, “Recent events call for a special sticker on the July cover. Look for it on newsstands.(sic)”

Now that’s the classy way of getting revenge Hugh Hefner!  We love it!

Hugh posted on his Twitter yesterday, writing, “Crystal did an interview with Ryan Seacrest this morning to explain everything, but I still don’t have a clue.

“I didn’t see any of this coming, but I’m glad things went wrong before the marriage instead of after. Live & learn.”
