Hansen Picks Up Another $459k

After winning nearly one million in January, Hansen decided to rake in another $459k last night.

Hansen’s primary target was unidentified online player UarePileous, who he was able to wreck for $315k in 252 hands of $500/$1,000 Cap PLO.

The Great Dane also found time to beat up on the suddenly surging Phil “OMGClayAiken" Galfond. Hansen took $71k from Galfond just over 100 hands.

Add in several other relatively minor victories and Hansen finished his night with a $459k profit.

Hansen is now up nearly $2 million in the early stages of 2011 and is by far the biggest winner on Full Tilt Poker.

Galfond was also able to recover from his poor session against Hansen and ended up finishing with an extra $123k in his online bankroll.

Other big high stakes winners from last night included MrSweets28 (+$110k) and Halozination (+$61k) on PokerStars while PixKim (+$58k) and skjervoy (+$57k) had fantastic sessions on Full Tilt.

UarePileous was by far the biggest loser, dumping $458k into the online poker economy.

Jared Bleznick had a miserable night losing $200k on his Full Tilt “harrington25” account and then dropping another $98k on his PokerStars “Harrington10” account.

Kanu7 (-$81k), psychobenny (-$70k) and Josh Arieh (-$57k) were also among the biggest losers.

Also of note was Italian November Niner Filippo Candio losing $46k on Full Tilt. He can likely afford it considering he won $3 million in November.
