Gene Simmons feels terrible about upsetting his longtime partner Shannon Tweed after posing for photos with two female admirers outside an L.A. restaurant. But that photograph seems to be the tip of the iceberg. See Shannon and Gene’s interview on Joy Behar below!
Gene Simmons and his girlfriend of 28 years Shannon Tweed have had a nasty argument that was filmed for their reality show “Gene Simmons Family Jewels”.
On the show, Shannon confronted Gene about a photo he took with two females but it seems it’s the rocker’s cheating ways that are the real issue.
Simmons and Tweed had a very uncomfortable interview on “The Today Show” and it spilled over to their interview on “The Joy Behar Show”.
In the interview, Behar tried to discuss Simmons’ philandering ways, which only fueled Shannon’s anger.
“That’s very nice for you to joke about it,” Tweed said sarcastically. “F— off.”
Tweed, 54, took her mic off and left the set.
“Thanks for the question,” Simmons said to Behar.
Gene Simmons doesn’t want to end his relationship with Shannon.
“We belong together,” he said.
Simmons watched the season premiere of the show and later tweeted, “Sometimes it takes stepping back and seeing yourself like this to see what missteps you might have made.
“Nothing inappropriate went on at dinner, but I see now that wasn’t the point… It was just a photo op. Innocent dinner company. But sometimes my actions have consequences.”
Gene felt bad seeing Shannon so upset, writing, “I hate seeing her like this. Hurts twice as much when I am the reason.”
The KISS rocker agreed to go to counseling to help them work through their problems, saying, “I hate the idea of therapy but I will do it for Shannon… As much as I hated to admit it at the time, therapy actually made me ask myself some important questions. Maybe that is why I avoided going.”
In our opinion, the only way Gene can save his relationship is to marry Shannon and to stop cheating on her! Of course Shannon may not even want him to put a ring on it by now!
