“Full House” Star Candace Cameron Bure Battled Bulimia

Former “Full House” child actress, Candace Cameron Bure, is opening up about her battle with bulimia in her new book entitled “Reshaping It All”.

Candace Cameron Bure, who is best known for her role as DJ Tanner in “Full House,” reveals all about her dangerous eating disorder in her new book.

Candace said of her bulimia battle, “It’s a very dangerous cycle that can just start to consume your life and really take over.”

Bure left “Full House” in 1995 after growing up in front of the cameras on the popular show.

Candace moved to Canada with her new husband, Russian NHL player Valeri Bure, and said that was when her eating disorder started.

“It wasn’t about me trying to lose weight,” she said. “It was all about emotions.”

But Bure, 34, a mother to three children, has overcome bulimia and is now at a healthy weight.

Candace credits her healthy lifestyle to getting fit with her husband Valeri, 36, and their kids, Natasha, 12, Lev, 10, and Maks, 8.
