The third and final trailer for "X-Men: Days of Future Past" has finally been released.
The latest chapter of the franchise will see characters from the original film trilogy joining with their younger selves. In order to change a major historical event in the future, the X-Men must fight between two time periods for the survival of their species.
The film cost an estimated $225 million to make, and is the second-most expensive film ever produced by 20th Century Fox.
James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender will reprise their roles as Charles Xavier and Magneto. Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry and Anna Paquin will also be rejoining the cast. Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage will join on as the evil scientist Bolivar Trask.
The film will be released on May 23 in the U.S.
