Last month, fans of the “Fifty Shades of Grey” series got the information that they had desperately been seeking for at least a year. After a lot of rumors, gossip and speculation, the main characters for the film version of E. L. James’ hit were finally cast. That’s the good news. The bad news, however, is that apparently the casting choices weren’t the ones that fans were looked for. Dakota Johnson was cast in the female lead, and Sons of Anarchy Star Charlie Hunnam was cast as the male lead.
Recently, one of the men who was consistently whispered about as a favorite to play the male lead sat down with the Huffington Post.
During his interview, Ian Somerhalder touched on a number of issues, but the most interesting one was how he felt about getting passed over for a role that seemed to have his name written all over it. Check his comments out in the video below.
