As TV viewers will recall, 'Bachelorette' Ashley Hebert rejected Ben Flajnik’s proposal earlier this year, but the heartbroken guy is reportedly going to star in the new season of 'The Bachelor.'
ABC-TV has yet to officially confirm the choice of the 28-year-old Sonoma winemaker, but a source tells Us Weekly, “They think he'll be ratings gold.”
Flajnik has many admirers it seems, including ‘Ghost Whisperer’ star Jennifer Love Hewitt who famously tweeted: “Omg! Ben f except my final rose !!! I love that ring. Neil lane u rock!! Happy for Ashley.... Gotta book a flight to Sonoma !!!:):)”
After that tweet, Flajnik started following Hewitt on Twitter and the two went out on a date at San Francisco's Lion's Pub. An eyewitness told Us Weekly, “The bar started to close she grabbed his hand and marched outside.”
The next day, Jennifer tweeted: 'Morning lovelys! I got lost in the most amazing sat! Just when you think u can't be surprised.... You are and it's awesome!' However, Flajnik’s decision to join 'The Bachelor' suggests that he didn't share Hewitt's enthusiasm.
As for Ashley, who dumped Flajnik, she has shacked up with winner J.P. Rosenbaum in his New York apartment. “I have no hesitation about moving in. I definitely don't have any anxiety about it. I think we're ready for that, and I don't have a lot of shoes, luckily. He cleaned out a closet for me. Isn't that sweet?” she stated. “We're going to get our own place with big closets, but for now, he cleaned out a closet for me.”
