Dominican Republic Cancels Miley Cyrus Concert, Says She Promotes Lesbian Sex


Miley Cyrus was supposed to perform a Sept. 13 concert in the Dominican Republic, but that part of her "Bangerz" world tour has been canceled by the country's government.

According to the Associated Press, the country's National Commission of Public Entertainment and Radio said in a statement yesterday that the pop singer has been banned on "morality grounds."

The commission added that Cyrus often "undertakes acts that go against morals and customs, which are punishable by Dominican law."

Cyrus has been known to twerk, wear a marijuana leaf costume, smoke pot and pretend that she is performing oral sex on a Bill Clinton impersonator on stage, noted The Independent.
