David Boreanaz, star of the TV show 'Bones,' claims that being unfaithful to his wife of 10 years, Jaime Bergman, with Tiger Woods' mistress Rachel Uchitel was good for his marriage. Boreanaz had a fling with Uchitel while Bergman was pregnant with their second child.
Boreanaz says the affair was "a bonding experience, in the long run" with wife Bergman, a former Playboy Playmate. Following her affair with Tiger Woods and Boreanaz, Uchitel married businessman Matt Hahn in Las Vegas earlier this month.
Boreanaz told TV Week: "In a sacred ground like marriage, you find yourself out of it at certain times for reasons unknown that can be destructive. There could be a demon that kind of comes out and overtakes you. Do I believe in giving up? No, I don't. I'm a fighter. I'm a lover."
While Bergman said at the time of his confession that she was "angry," the pair decided to work on their marriage.
This isn't the first time that his hormones have made headlines. Boreanaz was sued by actress Kristina Hagan for sexual harrassment following her Sept. 2009 appearance on the 'Bones' set. Hagan claimed that Boreanaz sent "sexually inappropriate" text messages to her cell phone (although she doesn't explain how he got her cell phone number).
The suit claimed that Boreanaz made unwanted advances on Hagan in a parked car and in his on-set trailer, while promising her further work on the show because he was "the boss."
In March this year, Hagan's lawyer said the lawsuit was "resolved," but provided no further details.
