'The Creature' Tattoos his Body Every Day, Admits Daughter is Scared of Him

One of the most tattooed men in the world, called The Creature, admits his appearance is so shocking that it frightens his five-year-old daughter.

Working as a tattoo artist and body piercer, Marcus Boykin has made his body into his own canvas as he said he has to add a tattoo to his body everyday.

Boykin, 29, performs at the Venice Beach Freakshow, which is being turned into a reality series on AMC.

“Without feeling the needle feels like I’m losing my purpose in life,” he said. “My body will never be done. This is my story. I’m still living so my story cannot be done.”

Though he admits he can’t live without it, he also knows his passion draws a lot of negative attention.

“Because of this dedication, the average person draws themselves away from me or grabs their kids in fear of [me],” he said. “Knowing that I have a daughter who is five years old, named Mia, it’s a hard thing to deal with. A hard road.”

He said Mia’s mother, his ex-wife, is disappointed by his decision.

“She’s known me from the beginning, but since I’ve made the transformation, it’s still something that was hard for her to deal with.”

While his five-year-old girl is scared of him, he said his two-year-old son, from another woman, still loves him.

“He’s not scared of me, he loves me,” he said.

The reality show will feature other “freaks” who perform with him. Included are: Amazing Ali, the miniature woman, Goth-fashioned Morgue, who performs many tricks including plunging a drill bit up his nose, and Tall Man George, who stands at 7’8”.
