One of the pioneers of rock and roll, Chuck Berry, 84, was taken ill last night at his concert at Chicago Congress Theater. Chuck was helped off the stage after he started singing erratically and slumped over his piano. He was checked out by paramedics, and, being the classy guy he is, he came back on stage to thank his fans. He did his trademark duckwalk and left the stage.
Chuck was not taken to the hospital. What a classy guy; he could teach those young singers of today a thing or two! We wish him well and hope he takes it easy!
