Two days after confirming her split, Christina Aguilera has filed for divorce from her husband Jordan Bratman.
According to papers published by TMZ, Aguilera cited “irreconcilable differences” in her divorce petition, which was filed today, and September 11, 2010 as the date of her separation.
The divorce petition asks that “Earnings and accumulations of [Aguilera] before marriage, during marriage and from and after the date of separation” be considered separate property.
She also asked for joint physical and legal custody of their son, Max, TMZ reports.
Aguilera confirmed the separation this week, saying, “Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever.”
