Though Bill Hader is a fan favorite on SNL, he is planning to leave the show.
He announced to the New York Times that it was time for him to go.
"It was a hard decision, but it has to happen at some point," he said. "It got to a point where I said, 'Maybe it's just time to go.'"
Hader, 34, has worked on the show for eight years. This Saturday will be his last episode.
He is the most recent actor to announce resignation from the show. Before him was Seth Meyers, who said he would leave in February. He is planning on taking over Jimmy Fallon's Late Night show.
Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis are still on the show, but many believe they will decide to leave as well.
"They're making their decisions now," Exec. Lorne Michaels said.
