Following Ben Flajnik’s on-air proposal to Courtney Robertson on ABC-TV's 'The Bachelor,' he and and his fiancee sat down with host Chris Harrison for the 'After the Final Rose' special.
Flajnik said that after watching the footage of Robertson’s behavior around the other women on the show, the two called off their engagement.
In the past, Flajnik had been warned about Robertson's behavior by the other women, several times, but had ignored their words.
For her part, Robertson said that vying for Flajnik with so many other women “brought out the worst in me.”
She said having the engagement called off was “heartbreaking” and that Flajnik then “abandoned” her. Robertson went on to reveal that she reached out a lot to Flajnik after their split, but he didn’t respond.
For his part, Flajnik said that he and Robertson are now “in a good place,” but Robertson said she still can’t trust him completely yet.
Flajnik then said to Robertson: ”I want to be with you. I love you. I’m not going to abandon you.” He then slipped the engagement ring back on Robertson’s finger.
