Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie, 35, is set to play Marilyn Monroe in the movie version of “The Life and Opinions of Maf the Dog”, according to reports.
The author of “The Life and Opinions of Maf the Dog”, Andrew O’Hagan, told the London Telegraph that Angelina Jolie will be playing the role of Marilyn Monroe. And hunky George Clooney will play the role of Frank Sinatra. Read more on this story below.
The Telegraph reports that “The Life and Opinions of Maf the Dog” follow the screen legend’s last two years of her life through the eyes of her dog, Maf, a Maltese terrier. The dog was a gift to her from Frank Sinatra in 1960.
Jolie is reportedly also being considered for the role of Cleopatra, which was played by Elizabeth Taylor in 1963.
“I would be honored [to play the role],” Jolie stated. “But we haven’t gotten the script yet.”
