Angelina Jolie reportedly bought partner Brad Pitta waterfall and the surrounding property for Christmas.
Sources close to the two stars are saying Jolie bought the waterfall property because of its resemblance to architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s classic house, Fallingwater (photo below), Dailymail is reporting.
In 2006, Pitt and Jolie went to visit the home, which is built over a waterfall. According to one source, “Brad has always loved Fallingwater and his first trip there was unforgettable. Angelina wanted to get him something incredibly special and, because she knows how much he loves architecture, she thought this would be perfect.”
The source also claims that Pitt wants to design a home on the property, overlooking the waterfall, explaining “Brad has dreamed of a home with the sound of a waterfall cascading under the house…Brad has always wanted to design his own house. He wants to pull all aspect of nature, light, glass and varying levels into the concept.”
