Angelina Jolie, currently starring in Kung Fu Panda 2, gushes about her long-term partner Brad Pitt in a new interview.
According to Jolie, Pitt, 47, is a “real man’s man”.
In her exact words as told to British newspaper The Telegraph: “I am very lucky with Brad,” Jolie, nearly 36, said in her interview. “He is a real gentleman, but he is also a real man’s man.”
On hearing those words women everywhere will want what Jolie is having, and men will shoot daggers at Pitt.
Jolie continues to gush: “He’s got the wonderful balance of being an extraordinary, great, loving father, a very, very intelligent man and physically he’s a real man…in all things that it means,” she added, apparently coupled with a ladylike blush.
“I love being a woman,” she says. “I love that I can have children. I love feeling soft, I love being with Brad, I love all the sensitivity and natural emotion.”
Regarding marriage and wedding rings… Pitt stated in a very recent interview it is something the kids want.
Jolie was less than forthcoming on the ‘ring on your finger’ issue. She would only answer with “We are obviously extremely committed to the children and as parents together.”
She was more forthcoming about the large family the couple shares (Maddox, 9, Pax, 7, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 5, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.)
“When Brad and I decided to have a large family we decided we’d only do it if we could be really hands-on and take the kids with us, seeing them every day,” she explains. “I am always there on weekends, I only ever work a five-day week, and I am often there for breakfast or dinner. When I’m working they come up at lunch.”
There remains one burning question. I am sure it’s not just myself that wonders this about Brad Pitt: Can the ‘man’s man’ change lightbulbs? That’s what a woman really wants – don’t they?
