New York was the place to be last night as the 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards took place at the Alice Tully Hall in The Lincoln Center.
Lady GaGa was the recipient of the Fashion Icon Award (this is why I shop at Walmart). Lucy Liu looked so beautiful, but then again she always does.
Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen looked like a couple of old bitties. You would think with all of their money they could buy either posture or smiles. I don’t get it. They don’t have to live this way.
Some yummy man-candy that attended the event: Gerard Butler (more on him shortly, but as you know he’s worthy of his own post), Matt Bomer and Anderson Cooper. Russell Simmons wore sneakers with his tux, but it’s Russell Simmons so I’m sure he could care less what anyone thought. One thing is for sure, he was probably the most comfortable person there. Except maybe Kirsten Dunst.
Have a look at the fashion and let me know what you think. Don’t get me wrong, some of the outfits are lovely, but some are just so ‘out there’. I guess that is what ‘fashion’ is all about. At least at an event like this.
