A woman in Corvallis, Oregon, woke up to a stranger on top of her while in her bed on the morning of Sept. 16.
According to police, the incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. at an off-campus student housing community near Oregon State University. The woman told authorities that the man was rubbing himself on her through his clothes and the covers.
The victim said she was unsure as to how long the man had been there before she woke up. He was in her room for 10 minutes once she awoke, before finally leaving.
“I couldn’t imagine being in that situation," fellow resident Samantha Colton said. "That would be terrible.”
Colton was alerted to the incident, as were other residents, from a note posted to her door by apartment staff.
“I’m actually kind of scared because I like to sleep with my window open, but a few nights ago I had a weird feeling and I was like, I’m going to close my window now,” student and fellow resident Stephanie Lockett said.
The suspect — who has yet to be caught — was described as a college-aged male between 5’8” and 5’10” with a heavy Middle Eastern accent and dark complexion.
