A woman from Brooklyn was sexually assaulted two times in one hour, and police think the suspects may have been friends who planned the attack.
At 5 a.m. on August 31, the victim was reportedly pushed to the ground in front of a building and sexually assaulted by a man who threatened her with a gun, but did not show it to her, reports the New York Post. He is described as a 5-foot-7 man wearing blue jeans and a red shirt.
Just one hour later, at around 6 a.m., the same victim stood in front of a different building just one block away in the Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn and was approached by a different suspect who allegedly pushed her to ground and sexually assaulted her, reports ABC 7. He also reportedly claimed he had a gun, but failed to display it, according to police. The second suspect is described as 6-feet-tall and 170 pounds.
“Both incidents bare extreme similarities, so we aren’t ruling that out (that one suspect tipped off the other),” said one police source. “The similarities (between both sexual assaults) are hard to ignore.”
Police were able to view a surveillance video of the second suspect and incident.
