An Oklahoma woman was found dead in a Walmart bathroom three days after she had gone in.

Employees found 29-year-old Katherine Caraway's body in the bathroom at a Walmart near Tulsa on June 26, where her remains were reported to have been sitting for days, according to Daily Mail.

Surveillance footage from the store showed the moment Caraway, a mother of one, entered the store on June 23, but did not show her leaving. Employees had thought the locked bathroom was simply not working, and placed an "Out of order" sign on the door.

"We're searching through the video and talking to as many people as we can to find out her story, where she's from," said Sand Springs Police Captain Todd Enzbrenner, who added that there were no apparent signs that the woman had been murdered.

"There was nothing suspicious that indicated her cause of death at the scene," Enzbrenner said, reports the Mirror. "So the medical examiner will have to determine it."

Caraway lived in Muskogee, Oklahoma, about an hour's drive away from the Walmart where she was found. She was originally from Celeste, Texas, according to Dallas News.

"I don't know what to say, it's crazy," said Marle Lawson, a customer at the store. "That's hard to believe that body had been inside this Walmart bathroom for a few days. I'm shocked, I mean, I hadn't heard about it."

"We are saddened by the death of Ms. Caraway, and our thoughts and prayers are with her family," said Walmart in a statement. "We are working closely with local law enforcement to determine the facts. Because this is an ongoing investigation, we must refer you to them for additional information."

Earlier in June, police identified the remains of a man found decomposing in a Walmart parking lot in Palm Bay, Florida, as 24-year-old Nicolis Giovani Mangano of Gaithersburg, Maryland, according to Florida Today.

An employee at the store called authorities to report the body. Police did not suspect that Mangano had been murdered, and a police spokesman said that his body may have been in the parking lot for up to four days.

Mangano's was the fourth body in under three years found in a Florida Walmart parking lot or in the parking lot of a Florida shopping center with a Walmart. Previously, police found a man dead in an SUV at a Walmart in Viera, Florida, and another in a sedan at a shopping center in the Melbourne, Florida, area.

Police in West Melbourne, Florida, also responded to a call from which they discovered a woman's body in a minivan in a Walmart parking lot.
