A Florida woman was arrested for eating sushi, cinnamon rolls and chicken while drinking wine and driving a motorized cart through a Walmart — all after having used methamphetamine, the Citrus County Sheriff's Office said.
Josseleen Lopez, 20, was arrested and hit with shoplifting and drug paraphernalia charges after the Lecanto, Florida, store's loss prevention employee noticed her acting suspiciously while driving a motorized cart around the store on Dec. 22, WFLA reports. The employee spotted a half-empty bottle of wine in her cart and watched her grab a box of sushi from the shelf and eat a piece.
The woman also reportedly consumed cinnamon rolls and the majority of a rotisserie chicken while driving the cart. In total, she consumed $32.36 worth of food in the store.
When authorities arrived, they found two empty syringes on her and determined that she used them earlier in the day to shoot meth. Lopez told deputies that she knew what she did was wrong but that she was hungry and didn’t want to take food outside of the store.
