A woman in Indianapolis was caught on video trying to steal a Donald Trump sign from a neighbor's lawn (video below).
Philip, a supporter of Republican presidential nominee Trump, who wouldn't give his last name, told WRTV that somebody damaged his Trump sign.
"I looked out my front door and the sign was lying about 4 feet over, and it was crumpled up pretty good," he said.
That's when Philip decided to put it back up with security string and a hidden camera nearby to catch the next anti-Trump culprit.
Unsurprisingly, someone did try to steal Philip's sign. But the thief didn't realize she was on camera and that the sign was secured with string. So when she tried to run off with the sign, she fell over.
"Whether it's a Bernie or Hillary or a Trump sign, you might disagree with whatever the politics are, but it's not yours," Phillip said. "Leave it alone."
Supporters of Trump often face backlash, according to reports.
Stolen signs have been a common occurrence during the 2016 presidential campaign,
“Four signs I had up with Donald Trump were missing,” a man told WWLP.
And on June 2, anti-Trump protesters in San Jose, California, allegedly threw eggs and bottles at supporters of the GOP nominee before a political rally.
"It was unbelievable," said Steve Tong, who told KNTV he saw anti-Trump protesters surround and taunt an elderly couple. "I've never seen anything like that in America before."
