A Maryland woman has been arrested three times in nine days on charges of assault, violating a peace order, and poisoning/contaminating food.
We’ve all had a bad week before but few of us have had as bad of a week as Sara P. Schrock just had.
The Mechanicsville, Maryland, woman was first arrested on April 28, SM News Net reported.
Maryland State Police responded to a call about a reported assault. Police say Schrock had assaulted a female victim.
The 56-year-old woman was charged with assault in the second degree and booked into St. Mary’s County Detention Center.
On May 3, Schrock violated her active peace order by contacting her victim verbally, according to reports. She was jailed again but was released on her own personal recognizance, court documents show.
Then, on May 6, Schrock was accused of contaminating milk she served to family members at her home. Charging documents allege Schrock contaminated the milk with shavings of dead skin from her feet.
Schrock was returned to St. Mary’s County Detention Center, making it her third arrest in nine days. She is facing charges of poisoning/contaminating food, three counts of assault, and failure to comply with a peace order.
The poisoning/contaminating food charge is a felony punishable by up to 25 years in prison, SM News Net reported.
