A Florida woman has been arrested for assaulting her ex-boyfriend after catching him and her own mother hugging and kissing each other.
Hernando County police responded to a call just before noon on Dec. 27 about a physical disturbance at a Spring Hill home, WFLA reported.
Breauna Eve Bolton, 19, told authorities she started crying when she saw her mother, Tonya Barker, sitting on her ex-boyfriend's lap. Bolton had dated her ex-boyfriend, Philip Ocasio, for a year-and-a-half before breaking up in early December, WTSP reported.
When Bolton approached Ocasio, he stood up from his chair. That's when Bolton pushed him over the chair and punched him in the back of his head, authorities said.
Barker and Ocasio were also interviewed by authorities. They confirmed that they were hugging and kissing each other in Barker's bedroom when Bolton saw them through an open window.
The mother and ex-boyfriend said Bolton then became angry, started yelling at them, entered the bedroom through the window and assaulted Ocasio.
Ocasio suffered minor injuries to his arm and the back of his head was red, authorities said. Bolton has been charged with domestic battery. She was booked into Hernando County Jail.
