White Supremacist Murderer Keith Luke Commits Suicide in Prison

28-year-old murderer and white supremacist Keith Luke was found unresponsive in his Massachusetts jail cell on Saturday. It is believed that Luke committed suicide.

Luke was serving life in prison for two murders and a brutal rape. He broke into an apartment two women shared after one, 20-year-old Selma Goncalves, refused a date with him. Luke raped her roommate, who was home at the time, and shot her in the head, chest, and both arms.

Miraculously, the woman survived. But during the horrific act Selma Goncalves came home, and Luke shot her three times in the back, killing her.

Luke then shot 72-year-old Arlindo Goncalves (no relation to the first murder victim) as he walked down the street. He killed the man with one shot to the head.

Brockton police soon caught up with Luke and apprehended him after a shoot-out, ending the horrific spree.

As the woman who had survived the attack recounted what happened that night to the courtroom—including how she had to play dead to avoid being killed—Luke laughed out loud.

Luke had previously attempted suicide while in jail, overdosing twice and slitting his own throat, according to the Brockton-Enterprise. He had also carved a swastika into his forehead with a staple.

Following his suicide attempt at Souza-Baranowski Center on Saturday, the neo-Nazi was taken to a University of Massachusetts Hospital and placed on life support. By Monday afternoon he was pronounced dead.

“I think the world is a better place without Keith Luke in it,” said Councilor-at-large Moises Rodrigues , who is the first Cape Verdean to serve on the City Council. “He is someone that doesn’t deserve to live, someone that caused so much harm and so much anguish to a community, to a city.

“I think the world is a better place today without him.”
