Boy Sneaks Into Garage To Pet Dog (Video)

A video of a little boy sneaking into a woman’s garage to play with her dog has gone viral (video below).

When Hollie Breaux Mallet noticed that a little boy was sneaking into the garage of her Louisiana home, she looked at security camera footage to see why, the Daily Mail reported.

The footage showed the little boy jumping off his bike and running towards Mallet’s dog Duchess to pet her and hug her before running off.

Mallet was touched by the footage. She posted the video on Facebook on May 30 in an attempt to identify the little boy.

"Attn Neighbors! Anyone know who this sweet little boy is?" she wrote alongside the video. "Every now and then when he rides his bike he will quickly come and love on my dog or play fetch real quick, but always leaves quick like he doesn't know if he should be here!

"I'd like to tell him he's welcome to stay and play, she loves the attention!"

The video was viewed more than 1.5 million times as of June 8, and Ginger Clement Breaux confirmed the boy in the video was her son Josh.

"Thanks for the add Hollie! Josh talks about your dog all the time!" Breaux wrote. "Every time we pass he looks to see if she was sitting where he could see her. Just didn't know he was doing things like this.

"Last night when I first saw it, I was torn as a momma being happy and upset because he knows he shouldn't be on someone's property, but I wake up this morning more happy that he just absolutely adores dogs so much."

Mallet said it was no problem at all and added that she hopes Josh will continue to play with Duchess.

“ ... [S]o glad to see that innocence and love was caught on camera instead of what they are normally used for,” Mallet wrote in the comments section. “Can't believe all the views this post has received, so glad to have captured this sweetness!”

When Breaux confronted her son about the video, she said Josh “turned ten shades of red” but “had a big smile after and said ‘you know I love dogs momma.’”

A few social media users questioned why Josh didn’t have a dog of his own to play with.

“I figured I would comment this on here since a lot of people are asking.... Currently we do not have a dog,” Breaux responded. “We had our dog Bella since Josh was 2, but she passed away last year.

“Things have been busy and Josh is active with after school activities so we have not jumped back into taking on the responsibility of starting all over again with a new pup quite yet. It will happen though!”
