A Mississippi family's dog brought back more than a bone when he came home. The canine retrieved a large bag of cannabis.
On March 26, the Jones County Sheriff’s Narcotics Division was sent to the 200 block of Will Hayes Road, a JCSO press release states. The home owner said his dog brought back a bag of what he thought was garbage. It turns out, the bag contained about a pound of marijuana, which was confiscated, reports the Clarion-Ledger.
The case is pending investigation, according to the press release. How or where the dog obtained the cannabis is unknown, reports ABC News.
