A mother in Henrico County, Virginia, mysteriously went missing after sending a strange text to her husband (video below).
Connie Ditto, the 41-year-old owner of a hair studio, has not been seen or heard from since Aug. 11. Her husband, Mark, said he spoke with his wife that evening and she told him she wasn’t feeling well. The week before, she had fallen and hit her head.
When speaking with her husband, she complained of pain in her head and said she was going to visit a walk-in clinic.
Police later discovered that Ditto checked into Patient First clinic in Short Pump, Virginia, to be examined, but left before her name was called. Her husband received a text during this time instructing him not to come to the clinic because she was being sent to the hospital for X-rays, but that turned out to be untrue.
After their last text exchange, Ditto apparently turned her phone off.
Ditto’s husband now fears that his wife’s disappearance has something to do with an internal injury that was a result of hitting her head. She also reportedly has a history of alcohol abuse and depression.
“I fear she’s driven off somewhere, that’s she’s blacked out and gone,” he said.
