A Virginia man was arrested last week after he allegedly flashed a gun at a manager of a McDonald’s when applying for a job.
According to the Virginian-Pilot, Tevin Kievelle Monroe, 31, faces misdemeanor charges for brandishing a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct, Norfolk, Va., police say.
Monroe reportedly walked into the fast-food restaurant and asked if he could fill out an application. After being told by a manager that the application had to be filled out online, he asked again.
The New York Daily News reported when he was told no a second time, Monroe then lifted his shirt to show off not a resume but a handgun that was tucked in his waistband.
Police said the manager asked him to have a seat and quickly gave him a paper application. While Monroe filled it out, the manager contacted police. Officers then arrived and arrested him.
Monroe is now being held in county jail.
