Vincent Valvo, 19, was arrested for calling 911 twice to complain that he “didn’t like how his mom was talking to him” in Vero Beach, Florida.
Valvo was charged on April 11 with misuse of the police emergency system, reports TheSmokingGun.com.
According to an Indian River County Sheriff’s Office report, Valvo, who smelled of alcohol, was arrested outside his home at 4:30 a.m.
Valvo had been warned by the 911 operator not to call 911 about his mom during the first call, but made the second call anyway, reports WTSP.com.
Valvo was released from jail on April 12 after posting the $500 bail and is scheduled to be in court on May 14.
There are no details on exactly what Valvo's mom said to him.
