Surveillance video has been released showing a Michigan pharmacist using his own gun to fight off two armed would-be robbers -- an action that cost him his job.
In May Jeremy Hoven protected himself and employees at a Walgreens in Benton Harbor, Michigan by firing shots at the two men. They ran for their lives out of the store. He was hailed nationwide as a hero, but Walgreens fired him for violating a company policy that bans employees from carrying guns.
Hoven said he has a permit to carry a concealed weapon.
He is now suing Walgreens claiming he was wrongfully terminated. On Wednesday his defense team released surveillance video of the incident.
