The Michigan Humane Society recently posted a video (below), of a 4-week-old puppy being rescued from an underground Detroit drainpipe, on YouTube, which has since gone viral.
Authorities received a call on the morning of Feb. 9 that the puppy was stuck in the pipe. They called plumbers, who placed cameras into the pipe to find the puppy. Part of the rescue also included listening for the puppy's cries, via a medical stethoscope.
Rescuers then brought in an excavator to dig five feet down to save the lost puppy. According to the Michigan Humane Society, the puggle-doxen mix is now reunited with its mom and planning his next adventure.
