In Dallas, Texas, Police Sergeant Mark Johnson brought a sandwich from Chick-Fil-A to work with him on last Wednesday, August 1, also known as 'Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day.'
CBS Dallas reports that when Sergeant Johnson arrived at his post, he exchanged words with two lesbian female officers over the gay issue and Chick-Fil-A.
The female officers claim Sergeant Johnson put the Chick-fil-A bag directly in front of them and made remarks about where he went for lunch.
The Dallas Police Association, who represents all the officers, say they are getting two versions of the story.
An internal investigation has been launched, meanwhile, Sergeant Johnson was moved to a midnight shift at the Lew Sterret Justice Center, which the Dallas Police Association views as punishment.
The Dallas Police Association wants mediation between all three officers.
