The Drydocks World and Swiss construction company and the BIG InvestConsult brokerage firm are planning on building a luxury underwater hotel in Dubai, which has been designed by Poland’s Deep Ocean Technology.
The proposed Water Discus Hotel will have twenty-one rooms with huge windows, which will rest as deep as thirty feet underwater, reports BusinessWeek.com.
There will also be diving training, spa, garden, an above-sea swimming pool for guests.
The hotel will not be fixed to the ocean floor, can be raised to the surface for repairs, and moved via tugboat to new locations. It can also rotate.
The hotel will cost from $50 million to $120 million.
