In Crystal River, Florida, Kristyn Dominy risked her life to save another driver, who had shot her the finger just moments before (video below).
The 22-year-old Dominy was driving home with her daughter when a Jeep sped past her and the female driver flipped her off. Not long after, Dominy spotted the Jeep on fire, stuck in some trees just off the road.
Dominy told the Tampa Bay Times: “My first thought when I came around the corner and saw that her vehicle was on fire, I was thinking karma. But the same time, I could never, even though she flipped me off down the road, I could never just sit there and watch that happen.”
When Dominy got closer, she saw the other driver on fire herself, struggling to save her own daughter, who was trapped and tangled in her own seatbelt. Dominy helped get the girl out of the burning car before calling 911.
Both the jeep driver and her child were taken to nearby Tampa General Hospital. The woman was reportedly in good health, but her daughter is still in serious condition.
Dominy said: “The vehicle was up in flames and just the look on the mom and daughter’s face. I could never just drive by and not think about that.”
