Video: Geraldo Rivera Brags "I Was Right About the Hoodie"

On 'Fox and Friends,' this morning (video below), the topic was a recent wave of murders in Chicago.

Guest Geraldo Rivera claimed that some of those shootings in Chicago occurred because the victim was wearing “thug wear." Rivera said this vindicated his claim, from months ago, that unarmed teen Trayvon Martin was killed because he was wearing a hoodie.

At the time, Rivera said: “The hoodie is as much responsible for Trayvon Martin’s death as George Zimmerman was."

Rivera was slammed by criticized black leaders Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, and even his own son on Twitter.

Today Rivera gloated: "I was right about the hoodie wasn’t I? I hate to brag, but I got criticized by every pundit in America when I said Trayvon Martin would be alive today but for the fact that he was wearing thug wear, he was wearing the hoodie. Turns out now that we look at George Zimmerman’s interviews with the police; he didn’t profile Trayvon Martin because he was black, he profiled him because he was wearing a hoodie."
