A woman accusing Usher of exposing her to herpes says she has a sex tape to prove her claims.
Quantasia Sharpton, 21, alleged during an interview with YouTube vlogger Miss Jacob Kohinoor that she filmed the sexual encounter with Usher's consent, reports the New York Daily News.
Sharpton also alleges the New Jersey Days Inn she stayed at captured Usher, 38, on camera in the hotel lobby. Her lawyer, Lisa Bloom, wants to subpoena the hotel's footage as additional proof.
According to TMZ, eyewitnesses -- such as a former Days Inn employee -- also allege Usher was with Sharpton at the hotel that night.
In the past, Usher has denied her claim completely and says he never slept with Sharpton, reports TMZ.
She is just one of three people accusing the star of exposing them to herpes. Although Sharpton tested negative, one person is believed to have contracted the illness.
"When I first heard he had herpes I couldn't believe it ... I would have never consented if I had known," Sharpton said during a press conference.
A lawsuit has been filed against Usher alleging all three gave consent under "false pretenses."
"Raymond was a revered celebrity in their eyes who they believed could be loved and trusted," the lawsuit says. "Each plaintiff realizes that his or her consent was obtained under false pretenses and/or by Raymond's lie by omission, causing them severe emotional distress."
The claims have sparked controversy on social media.
Some are still skeptical of Sharpton's claims.
"Lol she is definitely lying.... not only was the man married at that time but he obviously would've never consented to a video which would be evidence," wrote one TMZ reader. "Also a well known celebrity millionaire going to a days inn and waiting in the lobby for you is comical."
"Whether she was really with him or not, she can't prove that he gave her any std," added another. "And the fact that she hired a celebrity attorney just screams she wants a free payday."
Others think even if they did sleep together, it does not merit a lawsuit.
"I still don't understand how you can sue somebody without proving damages," added a third. "She dodged the bullet and did not get herpes . It's no different than someone who has [AIDS]. Cases have been settled when the complainant contracts aids but not if they DON'T. This is a real head scratcher?????"
But some believe the woman and think Usher should pay regardless.
"What a shameful end to his career!" wrote one. "Who knew he'd fall so hard from grace!"
