Two babies were born on Saturday at 10:11 a.m., astonishing their parents with a birthday that appears in sequential order: 10:11 a.m. on 12/13/14.

Parents David and Katherine Jones didn’t realize the unique timing until a nurse excitedly pointed it out, according to spokesperson Kimberly Romo of the Tucson Medical Center in Arizona. The Jones’ noted that they had other things on their mind at the time, like the fact that Mrs. Jones wasn’t due until December 31.

“The doctors just said it had to be like right now, and none of us realized what time it was,” Mr Jones said. “One of the nurses in there is the one that actually caught it. All of this happened so fast.”

On Saturday, doctors performed a C-section on Mrs Jones.

Victoria Marie Jones, who weighed 5 pounds and 10 ounces, arrived just in time for the family to watch the annual Army-Navy football game, which Mr Jones said is a tradition.

At the same time, Leisha Campbell and Shawn Zimmerman welcomed the arrival of their new daughter at Ohio’s Cleveland Clinic.

“We knew she was going to be born today, we just didn’t know it would be at 10:11 a.m.,” Campbell said. “Everyone is telling us we should play the lottery.”

Campbell added that she and Zimmerman feel lucky and are excited to have family photos taken with Santa.

Hazel Grace Zimmerman is the couple’s fourth child, weighing in at just over 7 pounds. A few more ounces and she could have been born weighing 7.89 pounds at 10:11 a.m. on 12/13/14.
