Trump Plans To Have Special Guest Front Row At Debate

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s suggestion that he may invite former President Bill Clinton’s ex-mistress to the debate on Sept. 26 just might happen.

After businessman Mark Cuban, a strong opponent of Trump, announced on Twitter on Sept. 22 that he was attending the debate, the GOP nominee took to Twitter with a tentative guest suggestion of his own.

“If dopey Mark Cuban of failed Benefactor fame wants to sit in the front row, perhaps I will put Gennifer Flowers right alongside of him!” Trump tweeted on Sept. 24.

Flowers, a former model, had an extramarital affair with Bill in the 1980s, BuzzFeed reports.

Through her assistant, Flowers told the news site that she would accept an invitation from Trump.

“Ms. Flowers has agreed to join Donald at the debate,” Judy Stell, Flowers’ personal assistant, said in an email.

Flowers confirmed the news to Trump publicly on Facebook.

“Hi Donald Trump," she wrote. "I’m in your corner. Of course I will see [you] at the debate!"

Hillary’s communications director gave the following comment when told that Flowers may be in attendance: “Hillary Clinton plans on using the debate to discuss the issues that make a difference in people’s lives. It’s not surprising that Donald Trump has chosen a different path.”

Before Cuban endorsed Clinton and began his public attacks on Trump, he admits to being hopeful the GOP nominee would be different.

"Donald, initially, I really hoped he would be something different, that as a businessperson, I thought there was an opportunity there," Cuban told CNN in July. "But then he went off the reservation and went bats--- crazy."

He also said Trump scares him.

A Clinton aide confirmed the campaign invited Cuban because of his anti-Trump rhetoric.

"He has proven to be singularly effective in making the case against Trump and for Clinton," the aide said. "That is why we invited him."

“He has the best seat we have access to,” the aide said.
