Tom Brady's 'Suspect Board' Amuses Some (Photo)

From Jaws to Gollum, New England Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady's suspects some interesting characters may have stolen his Super Bowl jersey.

Brady created a humorous "Suspect Board" featuring images of a range of possible perpetrators, from pop star Lady Gaga to cartoon characters, such as the Crab People from "South Park," TMZ reports.

In addition to the photos, Brady wrote short comments explaining why they're suspects.

"Escape ropes?" writes Brady on Lady Gaga's Super Bowl photo. "Violent history," reads the caption near the photo of the shark from the "Jaws" movies.

Even fellow New England Patriot Julian Edelman found himself on the board.

"Hey Edelman 'Ya suspect, yeah you! I don't know what your reputation is in this town, but after that s@?# you pulled, you can bet I'll be looking into you!'" wrote Brady on his Facebook page.

After uploading a picture of it onto social media on Feb. 22, the board captured the attention of many, producing mixed responses.

Many loved it.

"This is the best thing I've seen in regards to the missing jersey," wrote one man on Brady's Facebook post. "Better than any meme out there."

Others found the board amusing and played along.

"Ummmm why isn't TED on that board?" wrote one woman on TMZ's Facebook page.

"I'm not going to lie.. I know who did it it was...... Squidward," wrote another.

"I wouldn't pit it past Matt Damon and Ben Affleck to steal the jersey either," chimed in somebody on Brady's Facebook post. "They should up there as persons of interest. Especially Affleck. He's dodgy."

Others weren't as impressed.

"Hilarious not .. get over it already ..a damn jersey ..people are dying everyday and you worried about a piece of cloth," wrote one person.

"Nobody stole it ,that d****he has it he just don't wanna let go of his 15 mins of fame and this is his failed attempt to stay in the limelight," added another.

Since the jersey went missing after the Super Bowl, Brady and authorities have been searching for the item, which is reportedly worth $500,000, NBC Sports reports.
