After being diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome at age 15, a young girl named Haley Burke finally saw her one dream realized through the Tim Tebow Foundation: to meet Tim himself.

“Haley’s journey to meet Tim began with a simple wish, and like all W15H experiences, became a completely customized trip full of exciting adventures,” the Tebow foundation said in a statement.

The foundation paid for Burke and her family to fly from Virginia to the presidential suite of a Scottsdale resort for four days. The family was greeted by rose petals leading to their room, along with a “Welcome Princess Haley” sign.

Burke also spent hours with Tebow himself and received a spa treatment. She took an airplane tour of the Grand Canyon and threw the first pitch at an Arizona Diamondbacks baseball game.

Finally, Tebow surprised Burke by attending a family dinner. According to Burke’s mother, the experience made her daughter’s dreams come true.

Each year, the W15H program creates similar experiences from 20 other children fighting life-threatening illnesses. Experiences have been granted at NFL games, award shows, Disney World and more. In addition to the experiences, Tim Tebow often connects with each child through a hospital visit, phone call, meet and greet or through other engagements.
