'That's My Pregnant Wife, Bro': Encounter At Store Spirals Out Of Control (Video)

Video (shown below) of a fist-fight in a Florida supermarket has gone viral after it was posted to YouTube Monday. But there are still few details as to what led up to the fight or whether anyone was arrested.

Only 45 seconds long, the video, which contains profanity, begins after the fight is already underway. It shows two men wrestling and trading blows near the deli counter in a Publix supermarket in the Baldwin Park area of Orlando.

Employees are seen in the video trying to break up the fight as women and children can be heard screaming in the background. One woman shouts that she is calling the police.

As the employees separate the two men, one brawler, wearing a blue sweatshirt, says to other, “Are you out of your mind?”

“That’s my pregnant wife bro,” the man in blue shouts as the other, older fighter says something that can’t be understood.

In a Reddit thread about the video, user joechai posted a purported witness’s version of what started the fight.

“Well I am on my way home from work minding my own business. I stopped at Publix to pick up some fried chicken for dinner,” reads the posted account. “I park get out of my car and step right in the middle of a 50 year old man verbally assaulting a 9 month pregnant woman and her 16 month old daughter.”

According to the alleged witness, the man who yelled at the woman left the parking lot and proceeded to the deli counter where the witness claims to have encountered him again.

“Before I know it [the pregnant woman’s] husband shows up and all hell breaks loose,” the unnamed witness said. “Deli counters are moving, glasses flying and curse words worse than a sailor were flying. Police are called, people standing around video taping the fight.”

The fight is believed to have occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Monday, according to WKMG News.

An Orlando police representative was unable to provide any details about the fight or whether the men in the video were arrested.

Brian West, a spokesman for Publix, also had few details.

“We do not know the details that lead up to the incident, but we're thankful that neither the customers near the incident or our associates were injured,” West said in a statement to WKMG.
