A 19-year-old Temple University student and her boyfriend were attacked Friday night when a gang of teenagers threw a brick at them.
The couple was walking outside of the campus to get some food when a group of teenagers began taunting them. The boyfriend told them to leave, but the group carried on.
The gang tugged the victim’s hair and earrings, then one girl smashed a brick into the Temple student’s face.
“It was terrible,” the girl’s boyfriend said. “It was terrifying.”
The young woman had dislocated teeth and several injuries to her face, according to her boyfriend who is also a Temple student.
The victim had emergency surgery to save her teeth.
Later, police brought the couple back to the scene of the crime to jog their memory about the event for clues.
