A Kansas City, Missouri, teenager faces jail time after a man accused her of kidnapping and robbing him.

Police arrested Courtney Lynn Daniels, 18, after Daniels allegedly invited a man to her home through Facebook.

The man arrived at her house last Saturday with the intent to take the teenager to breakfast, according to court documents. When the teenager invited him through a basement door, two armed men with dark bandanas over their faces punched him and demanded his credit cards, money, cell phone and car keys, according to the victim.

The alleged robbers then supposedly bound the man’s hands with zip ties before blindfolding him and putting him into the backseat of his car.

The man claims that the robbers threatened to murder him in the woods, saying to him, "Hope you can swim, we are going to take you to the woods and kill you."

He says that he also heard Daniels’ voice in the car with him, Fox 4 reports.

He was eventually able to escape by jumping from the moving car. The robbers reportedly kept driving, according to a probable cause statement.

Upon hearing the story, investigators went to a gas station where Daniels used to work. There the manager confirmed her identity as well as her Facebook account.

The victim then identified her in a photo lineup, KCTV 5 reports.

Police arrested Daniels on Monday. She denied being involved with the kidnapping and robbery, and also denied knowing the man at all.

She did lay claim to the Facebook account but says she deactivated it.

Though Daniels denied being at the home where the man says the robbery took place, a woman who was arrested on city warrants informed officials that she had met Daniels at the same home where the man was robbed last March.

Daniels is currently being held on a $50,000 bond and faces charges of robbery, kidnapping, and two armed criminal action charges.

The two gunmen have not yet been apprehended by police.
