High school teacher Amanda Brennan, 24, was recently arrested for allegedly dating a 15-year-old male student in Henderson, Nevada.
The two reportedly did not engage in sex, but did kiss and cuddle.
According to the police report, Brennan knew it was wrong to have a relationship with the teen, but claimed she loved the unidentified boy.
Brennan, who taught at Foothill High School, was arrested last Friday on two counts of luring a child and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The relationship was first exposed when Brennan picked the teen up in his gated community last Wednesday night, against his parents' wishes, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.
The teen's mom called the security guard at the gated community and asked for the name of the person who picked up her son.
According to the Las Vegas Sun, the boy's parents checked their son's iPhone records, which included numerous calls and hundreds of text messages with Brennan.
Police interviewed the teen at Foothill High School on Friday. The 15 year old told police that he and Brennan loved each other and had kissed twice.
He said they had cuddled in the back of her car on Wednesday night.
Clark County School District spokeswoman Amanda Fulkerson said Brennan is on unpaid leave.
Brennan reportedly told police about her dating relationship with the teen in a recorded interview.
She could face a minimum of two years in prison, if prosecutors prove that she took the boy from his parents' home with the intent to have sex with him.
