Kim Juzdowski, a language arts teacher at Chapin High School in El Paso, Texas, has an unusual method for reminding students to pay attention in class.
Juzdowski recently drew a giant penis -- testicles and all -- on the paper of one of her students, ABC 7 reported. Sandra Green, the mother of the student in question, emailed Juzdowski to ask about the penis, and she allegedly told Green that the drawing was intentional. She reportedly added that she did it because Green’s son wasn’t working in class, and the drawing served as a visual representation of the colloquialism ‘d*****g around.’
“I’m an educator myself so I said, there’s no way the teacher really did this,” Green told ABC 7.
"I didn't want to believe it," she added.
“I'm sorry (blank) took offense and I totally understand if you would like to meet with an administrator and have him moved,” Juzdowski reportedly wrote in an email to Green.
Despite the crudely drawn member, Juzdowski won’t lose her job.
"Their reasoning was that she admitted it," Green said. "Had she denied it she would have been removed from the school immediately. But because she admitted it they said it shows she's willing to change."
The El Paso school district said in a statement: "The teacher has acknowledged the inappropriate behavior in class. The incident is being dealt with administratively. We're working to accommodate the request of the parent and what's best for the student."
Green hopes she can transfer her son.
“If it was a man teacher doing it to a female student, they would have taken this totally serious," Green said. "But because it's the other way around I think they're letting the light side go on it. And I just want him out of the environment.”
